Do you have boxes of printed photos teetering in your closet, stored under the bed and spilling off the book shelves?  Do you download your digital photos onto your computer and then don’t know what to do next?

If this sounds like you, join Professional Organizer Andi Willis of Good Life Organizing at the Perry Public Library, 1201 Washington Avenue, on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 6 – 7 PM. Kings Chapel Holds Program for Grandparents' Day

 

HOUSTON COUNTY - Kings Chapel Elementary School will host grandparents for an “OZmazing Celebration” on Sept. 7, 2012.  Events will take place from 9:15 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  The highlight of the day is a musical performance from the Wizard of Oz.  Performances will be given at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.  A hotdog cookout and book fair will also take place.   

As shown by the pictures from the first day of school, this year’s school theme is the Wizard of Oz.  For the performance, the gym will be transformed into the Emerald City. 

More than 500 grandparents typically attend the KCES annual Grandparent’s Day event.  Grandparent's Day 2012 is on Sunday, Sept. 9.  Kings Chapel Elementary is located at 460 Arena Road in Perry.

Tinker Nantucket has been dreaming of this for years. The truth of the matter is that the spirit of vaudeville lives in her blood. She is a born performer descended of born performers. Her grandfather, Samuel Harry Brooks, sang and dance in vaudeville and burlesque halls as a side performer in the 1930’s and if Tinker is any indicator of inherited talent, it must come on with a vengeance!

His father owned a cabinet shop in Macon that was open from 1975 until recently but Mike always had different ideas about his future that diverged from pursuing the family business.
