Flint Energies Announces "We Have An App for That"

REYNOLDS/WARNER ROBINS/PERRY/UPATOI - Flint Energies announced today that it now offers its members iPhone, Android and smart phone applications which will allow them to view and manage their electric accounts.

“We have an app for that,” said Sr. Vice President Jimmy Autry. “Members can now access and pay their electric bills from many of the most-used smart phone applications.” In addition, these apps are free for their use.

Flint Energies, a leader in electronic communications with its members, introduced a fully functioning website in 1998 and offered online bill payment and presentment in 2001.

“This year, Flint began offering a member portal where members can see their usage, make changes in their account record, see and pay bills, make late payment arrangements, and request other services,” said Autry. “Most recently, we added member-controlled alerts and reminders which can send an email or a text to remind you of your due date or of a past due bill.”

This newest feature allows members to download an iPhone app from the App store, download from the Android marketplace, or just focus their smart phone on the Flint mobile website, according to Autry. “For those members accessing Internet service on their smart phone, our mobile website is www.flintenergies.mobi.”

Members can read more about the mobile applications on the Flint homepage at www.flintenergies.com said Autry. The member portal can be accessed from the upper left portion of the homepage, he said. First time users of the member portal can set up their own User ID and password for immediate use of the new features.

The system also includes the Museum of Aviation at Robins Air Force Base and the Fort Benning military post.
