Museum of Aviation Registering for Summer Camps

Museum of Aviation Registering for Summer Camps

 

The Museum of Aviation is gearing up for the vacation months with a full list of summer camps in June and July for PreK through 8th graders. 

The camps will be held Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to noon and are $125.00 each.  Mission Quest Flight Simulation Camps are $150.00 each. 

Attendees must register in advance for all camps and spaces fill up quickly, according to Cindy Groves, Museum Education Department Instructor.  Registration forms are available online at www.moaeducation.com. For information call (478) 222-7575 or email cgroves@museumofaviation.org.

From there, we set up an account for you. This account lets you log in to your community site and post photo galleries, concerts, community events, 100th birthday parties, your concerns, latest creative projects, how-to advice and anything else you want people in your area to know.

  • Where You Live is your space for public conversation.  Feel free to comment on others' articles. New ideas can crop up just from simple conversations with others.
  • See something bizarre around town? Take a (cell phone) photo and post it to your community site! Maybe someone else will know the background story.
  • Add an event to our community calendar. Click "Add an Event"  on your community site's event section.
  • Like" us on Facebook to include your local news, breaking news and weather warnings and watches in your Facebook feed.

The 2013 Dogwood Queens were crowned Saturday, March 9th during the Pageant held at Perry High School.  The Dogwood Queen Pageant is presented by the Perry High School Cheerleaders as a yearly fundraiser.  The court will represent the Perry Chamber of Commerce Annual Dogwood Festival coming this April 13th and 14th.

The countdown is on: the Perry Dogwood Festival returns and celebrates 25 years in Perry this year.

This year, the festival features a hot air balloon ride and a DockDogs Competition.

Peaches to Beaches Yard Sale This Weekend

The 9th Annual Peaches to the Beaches Annual Yard Sale is scheduled for March 8 and 9th along Hwy. 341.

Dodge County’s official site is located at the Municipal Center in Chauncey, GA.

According to the website, the Peaches to the Beaches Annual Yard Sale now covers over 200 miles from Barnesville and Culloden to Brunswick and the Golden Isles in Georgia.
