ATLANTA (WXIA) -- A Chick-fil-A kids meal is among the five worst fast food kids meals that claim to be healthy, according to a new report released Thursday.

The report, which was commissioned by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, says Chick-fil-A's Grilled Nuggets Kids Meal contains the same amount of cholesterol as a McDonald's Big Mac.

When the six grilled nuggets are paired with waffle fries and low-fat chocolate milk, the meal has 570 calories, 19 grams of fat, 75 milligrams of cholesterol, 1,150 milligrams of sodium and 23 grams of sugars, the report says.

Chick-fil-A introduced its new grilled nuggets in January as a way of showing the Hapeville-based chain's commitment to combating childhood obesity.

However, the report says that grilled chicken contains large amounts of PhIP, "a potent carcinogen that may play a role in the development of breast, prostate and other cancers."

The other kids meals on the list include the McDonald's Cheeseburger Happy Meal, which contains more sodium than 13 orders of McDonald's kids fries; the Sonic Kids' Jr. Burger Meal, which has more sugar than two Twinkies; the Burger King Hamburger Kids Meal, which contains almost as much cholesterol as six slices of bacon; and the Denny's Build Your Own Jr. Grand Slam, which has almost 100 more milligrams of sodium than the government recommends children eat at breakfast, according to the report.

The report says that some of America's top fast food chains have expressed a desire to make their kids meals healthier, but those orders "are still loaded with fat, cholesterol and sodium. These 'healthy' meals put children at risk for obesity, diabetes, cancer and other diet-related disease. Passing off unhealthful foods as 'healthy' is especially troubling at a time when 16.9 million American children and adolescents are obese."
