NHS Football Players, Cheerleaders to Read to QRES Children | Families

Quail Run Elementary School students are looking forward to some special guest readers.  Northside High School football players and Varsity Cheerleaders will read to the children on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at 9:00 a.m.  This is the seventh year in a row the players have read to Quail Run’s children.  

First grade teacher Jan Moore arranges the annual activity.  Her son, Tommy, played for the Northside Eagles.  “The players represent excellent role models for our children.  The players not only read to the kids, but they talk to them about the importance of working hard and trying your best in school.”
