Spring Fling Day 14: Contacts

Spring Fling Day 14: Contacts

Welcome to the Spring Fling. Join us every day in April to start flinging the clutter from your life!

Today I want you to browse through your contact list on your computer/phone or your paper address book. Go through and delete people that you no longer are in contact with. There’s no need to slog through 100 names and addresses when you no longer need 20 of those names.  If you use a paper address book and have a lot of changes to make, consider getting a new one and starting over fresh.

There's An App for That: Evernote

There's An App for That: Evernote

Evernote has become one of my favorite apps. I use it to store all kinds of information that I will want to retrieve later, things such as a great recipe from a friend, screenshots of other websites I am inspired by as I revamp my own website, and quotes that I want to remember. Basically Evernote is now my go-to spot to save anything I am going to need later.

Make sure your rechargeable batteries are charged and that you have  extra batteries on hand for all of your electronics. Don’t let that special moment pass you by because you are struggling to get your camera to work!

Holiday Organizing Tip #7 - Think of Others

Think of others over the holiday season. Volunteer at soup kitchen. Buy gifts for a toy drive or angel tree. Send a care package to a soldier oversees (http://soldiersangels.org/).
