Where You Live is WMAZ's hyperlocal feature. This means that we are helping bring you more community-specific news more often.

Former Perry Guard Named GCAA Player of the Year

Former Perry Guard Named GCAA Player of the Year

 

The GCAA men and women's Division III basketball coaches selected their All-Region team, player of the year and coach of the year.

Middle Georgia Technical College men's head coach Bobby Brown is the coach of the year.

The men's player of the year was former Dublin stand-out D'Meco Rozier.  Rozier averaged 14.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists this season.

Four Perry Students Commit to Junior Colleges

As a part of National Signing Day, these three Perry High School men, Joe Rucker, Marquez Thomas and A.J. Riley signed with respective junior colleges.

Deonte Solomon (pictured below) signed with West Georgia Technical College as a quarterback.
