Cause not determined yet in Perry house fire | News
Investigators have not determined what caused a Tuesday morning house fire in Perry.
Fire Chief Joel Gray said the blaze started in the attic at the home at 2019 Hwy 41. He said crews were called out to the residence at about 7:56 a.m.
There were no injuries and about $20,000 in property damage, mostly to the roof, according to the chief.
Gray said while much of the property in the home was saved, the structure sustained extensive smoke damage.
