No arrest imminent in west Houston shooting | News
A Houston County investigator said Thursday no arrest is imminent in a man's fatal shooting this week.
Detective Jon Holland says they are still interviewing people about the death of Kerry Benald Glenn of Perry and collecting evidence.
Glenn, 30, died from a single shot in the head, the Houston County Sheriff's Office says. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
He was found dead around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday outside a home at 330 Highway 224. That''s in west Houston County, outside Perry.
Holland says a woman who was inside the home, caring for some children, looked out, saw Glenn on the ground and called 911.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Holland said Glenn lived at the home, but he was not sure how the victim was related to others who lived there.
He would not say how long Glenn was dead. He said some people nearby reported hearing a gunshot, but investigators aren't sure if the time matches with the death.
Anyone with information on the case can call the Houston County Sheriff's Office at (478) 542-2085 or (478) 542-2080.
