Hawkinsville Man Dies in Wreck | News
A Hawkinsville man died when he lost control of his pickup truck in south Houston County Tuesday night.
That's according to the Houston County Sheriff's Office.
Deputy Darron Jones says it happened around 11:15 p..m. on Pitts Road. That's off Highway 341.
He said 38-year-old Lonnie McClintic Jr. ran off the road into a driveway and was ejected when his pickup rolled over.
McClintic was pronounced dead on the scene.
Jones said they don't know why the driver lost control, and the accident is still under investigation.
