ATLANTA (May 5, 2014) | Sen. Ross Tolleson (R- Perry) has received an ‘A+’ grade on the Georgia Chamber’s 2014 legislative scorecard. The Georgia Chamber’s scorecard recognizes legislators that supported pro-business initiatives during the recent legislative session. Midterm assessments from the 2013 legislative session, as well as a final grade for the biennial legislative term were also included on this year’s scorecard.
“I am honored by this recognition from the Georgia Chamber,” said Sen. Tolleson. “This was a very successful session as the legislature passed numerous economic development measures as well as Senate Bill 213, otherwise known as the Flint River Drought Protection Act. I am thankful for the support of the Chamber in passing SB 213 which will enhance our agricultural economy, provide preparations for extreme drought conditions and enhance water management for the Lower Flint Basin.”
