Perry High Presents 'Elephant's Graveyard'

HOUSTON COUNTY, GA – The Perry High School Theatre for the Performing Arts will present Elephant’s Graveyard on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are $5 at the door.

Elephant’s Graveyard is the true tale of the tragic collision of a struggling circus and a tiny town in Tennessee, which resulted in the only known lynching of an elephant.  Set in September of 1916, the play combines historical fact and legend, exploring the deep-seated American craving for spectacle, violence and revenge.

Joe Sendek serves as drama teacher and director.  Perry High is located at 1307 North Avenue.  For more information call 478-988-6298, ext. 21320, or e-mail joseph.sendek@hcbe.net.
